Gracious God,
In the quiet chambers of our hearts, Where transformation unfolds, We seek Your presence, unexpected and profound.
Our old selves, tattered and worn, Linger like shadows of deceitful desires, But today, we choose to put them off, To step into the light of Your grace.
As believers, we leave behind the familiar, The well-worn paths of our former lives, And embrace the new life found in Christ, A life that renews our minds and spirits.
May our thoughts be shaped by Your righteousness, Our actions guided by Your holiness, As we immerse ourselves in Your Word, Rejecting sinful patterns, embracing godly living.
Lord, help us cultivate more than rituals, More than empty routines and religious motions. May our relationship with You be genuine, Rooted in compassion, justice, and unwavering love.
In the quiet moments, in the daily grind, May we find You—our refuge, our strength, And may our hearts echo the psalmist’s cry: “Create in me a clean heart, O God.”
Amen.
