Gracious Father,
You are the wellspring of life, the eternal Source from which all existence flows. In our weakness, we find strength by leaning upon You. When life’s storms assail us, You remain our unwavering anchor, holding us steady amidst crashing waves. Lord, sustain us when trials test our resolve. When challenges threaten to overwhelm, remind us that Your sustaining grace is our refuge. You breathe life into our weary souls, infusing us with courage to press onward. Your judgment is real, O God, for You are just and righteous. Yet, even in Your sternness, Your mercy prevails. Like rain on parched ground, Your compassion falls upon us. May we humbly receive it, knowing that discipline is a path toward repentance and restoration. We confess our tendency toward idolatry—the allure of false gods that promise fleeting satisfaction. Help us discern their empty promises and turn our hearts back to You. May we guard against unfaithfulness, for it leads to spiritual decline. Our true strength lies not in worldly knowledge or self-reliance, but in complete dependence on You. You are the lifeline that sustains us, the Shepherd who guides us home. May our hearts remain steadfast, anchored in Your love.
